Crincle fabrics
Organic Crincle fabrics
Strictly speaking, crincle is not a designation for a fabric quality, but refers to a technique - namely that of crinkling. What one would like to avoid with other fabrics is intended here: a cool crinkled look that saves you the annoying ironing at the same time. Should you have accidentally ironed out the wrinkles, you can quickly bring them back by turning in the fabric.
Our Crincle fabrics may look a little wrinkly, but they have a very soft core. They are nice and soft and therefore a good choice for children's clothing, bedding or warm blankets and throws. Full Disclosure: We have made bedspreads out of these and are more than happy with them.
The cotton for these fabrics comes from a project in Uganda and in addition to the GOTS seal, they also have an IVN Best certificate, which ensures particularly high standards in terms of ecological criteria.
