Lyocell fabrics - soft flowing flattery for your skin
Lyocell is revolutionising how we think about sustainable fashion and home textiles. We are proud to offer a diverse range of these eco-friendly fabrics
Lyocell is made from sustainable wood sources, mainly eucalyptus and other rapidly renewable trees. Through an environmentally friendly manufacturing process, the wood is converted into a cellulosic solution, which is then spun into fibres. The result is a fabric that is not only sustainable, but also incredibly soft, durable and breathable.
Loycell fabrics offer you an extremely high level of comfort and have a soft flowing drape. Lyocell fabrics have excellent moisture management properties and are ideal for outerwear, underwear and home textiles

The history of Lyocell
The 1970s saw the first commercial development and research into Lyocell fibre as a textile material.
In the 1990s, the commercialisation of Lyocell fibre began. Lenzing AG from Austria further developed the process of Lyocell production and introduced the fibre to the market under the brand name "Tencel".
Today, Lyocell is the first choice for textile manufacturers who value sustainability and the special properties of fibres, especially due to its sustainable production and skin-friendly properties.
The special properties of Lyocell
Lyocell is primarily known for its softness.
Fabrics made from Lyocell fibre are very smooth and fall softly flowing
Another special feature of Lyocell is that it is less prone to wrinkling than many other fabrics. This means that garments and textiles made from Lyocell often require less ironing after washing.
Lyocell retains its colour and shape even after many washes.
Exceptional moisture management: Lyocell can absorb and release up to 50% more moisture than cotton. This makes it ideal for sportswear, underwear and bedding
Lyocell is very durable and keeps its shape and colour even after many washes. This makes it an excellent choice for high-quality garments and textiles.
Environmentally friendly: Lyocell is made from sustainably sourced wood and the production process is largely closed, meaning that almost all chemicals and water are reused.
