What is Premiere Vision Paris?

Première Vision Paris is an international trade fair specializing in high-quality materials. Textile developments and creative impulses for the next season are concentrated here. This is where exhibitors from various sectors – from fabrics and leather to accessories and design details –
meet and present new qualities, structures, colors and material trends.

For many brands, the trade fair is a key starting point in their seasonal planning: material selection,
Haptics, performance, and price range are evaluated early on – and in discussions with suppliers.
directly assessed for feasibility and minimum quantities.

Why the trade fair for sustainable fabrics is important

At Première Vision Paris, sustainability is increasingly being considered as part of genuine product development:
Better fibers, cleaner processes, more transparent sourcing, and durable quality. Precisely because of the presence of many premium providers one can clearly see which sustainable approaches are already marketable - and where there are still areas of tension regarding availability, price, or processing.

This is exciting for us because we select materials not only based on appearance, but also on quality, origin and actual usability. The trade fair helps to realistically assess new developments, and meaningfully compare it with existing qualities.

Innovation & Classification: What Really Matters

Besides the display of materials, it is primarily the content formats and focus areas that are important.
What makes the trade fair exciting: It's about new fiber approaches, alternative raw materials,
comprehensible standards and the question of how innovation can be implemented in practice.

For development, this means: fewer buzzwords, more reality. Which qualities are stable? Which supply chains are plausible? And which materials work not just in the showroom but also in everyday life – in cutting, sewing and in the finished product?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS

Who would benefit from attending Première Vision?

For brands, designers and purchasing teams who want to compare materials, discover new qualities and build contacts with manufacturers and suppliers – especially in early season planning.

Is it more about trends – or about genuine product development?

Both. Trends play a role, but above all, materials, textures and technical properties are showcased that must work in real collections – including questions about availability, minimum quantities and processing.

Is the trade fair also relevant for sustainable material choices?

Yes. Precisely because many suppliers operate in the premium sector, it's easy to see which sustainable approaches are already marketable – and where the limitations still lie. For us, this is a valuable basis for meaningfully classifying materials.
