Tulle fabrics – fine organic cotton tulle for transparent designs

Tulle fabrics are fine, transparent textiles with an open structure that bring lightness and airiness to designs. They are frequently used for tops, dresses, or decorative layers where transparency and movement are paramount.

Our tulle is made from 100% organic cotton (kbA) and is therefore a natural alternative to synthetic tulle. Compared to classic polyester tulle, cotton tulle is softer, less stiff, and has significantly less body. It is therefore particularly suitable for flowing silhouettes, sheer looks, and comfortable designs. What is tulle?

Tulle is a finely woven, transparent fabric with an open, net-like structure. It appears light, airy, and translucent and is frequently used as a design element in clothing. Depending on the material and workmanship, tulle can be softly draping or rather stiff.

Tulle made from organic cotton

Our tulle is made exclusively from 100% organic cotton (kbA) . This clearly distinguishes it from classic tulle made of polyester or polyamide. Cotton tulle is softer, more breathable, and more comfortable against the skin, but it has less body than synthetic versions.

Cotton tulle vs. classic tulle

Classic tulle made from synthetic fibers is often used for voluminous skirts, petticoats, or wedding dresses because it is particularly stiff and provides a lot of structure. Our organic cotton tulle takes a different approach: It is intentionally lighter and softer and therefore less suitable for heavy tulle skirts, but rather for flowing, transparent designs.

Knitted, not woven

The tulle in our range is a knitted fabric , not a woven one. The knitting technique creates a uniform, flexible net structure that comfortably adapts to the body and moves with it.

What is organic cotton tulle suitable for?

Thanks to its soft, airy properties, cotton tulle can be used in a variety of ways, especially where transparency and lightness are required:
