At Lebenskleidung, you'll find activewear fabrics that meet exactly these requirements: functional properties combined with natural materials and timeless design.

Our activewear fabrics are made primarily from sustainable cotton, lyocell, and Tencel lyocell – and are specifically designed to be stretchy, moisture-wicking, or particularly close-fitting. Instead of synthetic sports materials, we rely on elastic connections, breathable fabric structures, and natural fibers – for fabrics that perform without looking like fast-fashion sportswear.

Our activewear qualities

Depending on the area of ​​application, we offer different activewear fabrics:

  • Jersey & Interlock made from organic cotton – soft, stretchy and close-fitting, ideal for T-shirts, tops and sports tops.
  • Tencel Lyocell & Lyocell blend fabrics – particularly smooth, moisture-wicking and pleasant on the skin, ideal for fabrics with a sporty character and natural drape.
  • Cotton or lyocell-elastane blend fabric – two-way stretchable, dimensionally stable and comfortable for leggings, shorts or close-fitting cuts.
  • French Terry & Sweat – moisture-absorbing and pleasantly soft – for hoodies, joggers and loungewear with a sporty character.

Sustainability & Material Selection

Our activewear fabrics are predominantly made from sustainable and natural fibers – including organic cotton, cotton from more responsible farming programs such as the Better Cotton Initiative, and Lyocell and Tencel Lyocell from sustainably certified sources. Tencel Lyocell impresses not only with its natural origin but also with its ability to efficiently absorb and wick away moisture – ideal for active pursuits.

Some fabrics in our range come from deadstock and may contain synthetic components such as polyamide. This is also part of our conscious approach: using existing materials instead of consuming new resources. Where elasticity is required, we opt for the lowest possible elastane content.
