Wool is one of the most versatile natural fibers. It provides warmth, regulates temperature and moisture, is durable, and is naturally dirt-repellent. At Lebenskleidung, you'll find a curated selection of high-quality wool fabrics – from robust boiled wool and loden to wool fleece and fine wool qualities for suits and coats.

Our product range includes both GOTS-certified wool fabrics and selected deadstock qualities. We prioritize transparency: we do not carry newly produced conventional wool. We deliberately include deadstock wool to give existing materials a meaningful future in textiles.

Our wool fabric range

At Lebenskleidung you will find different wool fabrics for a wide variety of uses:

  • Wool felt & loden – densely felted, robust and ideal for jackets, coats and outdoor clothing
  • Wool fleece – soft, voluminous and especially warm
  • Fine wool fabrics – for suits, trousers and elegant garments
  • Structured wool fabrics – e.g. herringbone or twill weaves

GOTS-certified wool & deadstock

A large portion of our wool fabrics are GOTS-certified and come from controlled organic animal husbandry. We also carry selected deadstock wool fabrics – including organic wool from overproduction. In the future, we may also add deadstock qualities made from conventional virgin wool, provided they would otherwise go unused.
