A dense, weatherproof surface combined with pleasant elasticity is typical of softshell fabrics.

In our softshell collection, you'll find select, sustainably developed fabrics made from natural materials. We currently offer an innovative softshell made from 98% organic cotton (kbA) and 2% compostable elastane , which is water-repellent, windproof, and PFC-free. What is a softshell fabric?

Softshell fabrics are functional textiles specifically designed for outdoor and everyday use. Unlike traditional hardshell materials, softshell prioritizes comfort, elasticity, and breathability. They also offer wind protection and are generally water-repellent.

Natural softshell – reimagined

Many softshell fabrics are based on synthetic materials. Our approach deliberately takes a different path: Together with The Natural Laboratory and Hermin Textile , we have developed a softshell fabric that consists almost entirely of natural raw materials – completely without plastic in the outer material.

The Re-Life softshell is made from 98% organic cotton (kbA) and 2% compostable elastane . It is PFC-free, water-repellent and windproof – thus combining functionality, durability and responsible material use.
