Crinkle Organic Fabrics

Crinkle isn't actually a term for a fabric quality, but rather refers to a technique – namely, the art of crinkling. What you'd desperately want to avoid with other fabrics is exactly what you want here: a cool crinkled look that also saves you the hassle of ironing. And if you accidentally iron the creases out, you can easily restore them by twisting the fabric.

Our crinkle fabrics may look a bit pleated, but they have a very soft core. They are beautifully soft and supple, making them a great choice for children's clothing, bedding, or warm blankets and throws. Full disclosure: We've made bedspreads from them and are more than happy with the results.

The cotton for these fabrics comes from a project in Uganda and, in addition to the GOTS seal, they also have an IVN Best certificate, which guarantees particularly high standards in terms of ecological criteria.
