Which fabrics are suitable for children's clothing?

Children's clothing is worn, moved, and washed daily – and comes into direct contact with sensitive skin. That's why we pay particular attention to material quality, softness, and low levels of harmful substances in our children's fabrics.

  • Jersey & cotton jersey: elastic, soft and ideal for shirts, leggings and pajamas
  • Sweatshirt fabrics: cuddly and robust for sweaters, trousers and hoodies
  • Nicki: velvety soft – perfect for baby and feel-good clothing
  • Ribbed cuffs: for finishing sleeves, trousers and collars
  • Muslin: airy, breathable and particularly gentle on the skin
  • Terry fabric: absorbent and soft – ideal for swimwear, towels or loungewear
  • Merino wool fabrics: temperature-regulating, odor-neutral and pleasantly warming

Sustainable children's fabrics made from organic cotton and organic wool

Our children's fabrics are made primarily from organic cotton or certified organic wool . These materials are produced without the use of synthetic pesticides and are particularly kind to the skin. Many of our fabrics are also GOTS-certified or come from responsible deadstock production.

Why sustainable fabrics are so important for children

Especially when it comes to children's clothing, it's important to use materials low in harmful substances. Sustainable children's fabrics not only reduce the strain on sensitive skin, but also contribute to fair working conditions and the responsible use of natural resources.
