We usually ship your order within Germany within approximately 7 business days – often it's faster. Shipping is handled by DPD.

For international deliveries, we use UPS. Delivery times vary depending on the country and shipping provider.

Fabrics up to 30 meters are delivered doubled on winding boards as standard – this saves on packaging, reduces shipping costs, and is more sustainable than shipping on rolls. If you prefer delivery on a roll, please contact us in advance – we'll check if this is possible for your order quantity.

For fabrics with limited stock, you may occasionally receive a pieced-together shipment (several pieces instead of one continuous length). If you prefer a single, continuous piece, please contact us before ordering at info@lebenskleidung.com – we're happy to help.

Even for larger order quantities, we will advise you personally – just get in touch!

Our shipping practices are based on three principles:

Test in advance – with our sample service

Order a 13 x 13 cm fabric sample and find out if the color, feel, and quality are suitable for your sewing project. This way, you can make a more sustainable decision and avoid unnecessary returns.

We ship sample orders in an environmentally friendly way via Deutsche Post in an envelope (without tracking). If you also order fabrics, we will simply include the sample with your shipment.

And the best part: With every sample order you receive a €5 voucher for your next order – so it's doubly worthwhile!

Important: Only fabrics in our shop that are marked with the GOTS logo are actually certified. You can find all the details about each certification transparently in the product information.

Even with non-certified fabrics, we ensure fair and sustainable sourcing. Many materials, for example, come from deadstock – high-quality surplus fabrics that would otherwise sit unused in our warehouse. By making them available, we make good use of existing resources.
